Each year, the Missouri Valley Region (MARC) hosts a Startup Party where one lucky Model "A" is choosen to be started after numerous years of not being run. Usually, these care are started do to the wizardry of Terry Oberer, Startup Party Extraordinare.

Cars used for the Start-up party are Model A’s that have been dormant for a long period of time and which are reasonably complete. Using our “Team Approach”, members benefit from what it takes to get there cars in running condition again.
